Invention Education Ambassador Application 2025

In partnership with The Lemelson Foundation, Society for Science is pleased to continue this  teacher-leader role in our student research community for the 2024-2025 school year.  Invention Education Ambassadors will work throughout the year to:
  • Promote Invention Education principles, resources, and opportunities to the Society for Science educator community in an effort to increase the diversity and inclusion of students underrepresented in STEM engaged in this area
  • Assist the Society's Invention Education Fellow in soliciting teacher feedback on the intersection between student independent research and Invention Education
  • Assist the Society's Invention Education Fellow in sharing Society for Science student research resources and opportunities with the Invention Education teacher community.

Invention Education Ambassadors will receive a $1,000 stipend and will attend one of the Society's all-expenses-paid Research Teacher Conferences to present on the intersection between student research and Invention Education.  The Ambassadors will also meet monthly with the Invention Education Fellow to gather and develop resources and coordinate the dissemination of information to teachers.
