Intel Education Outreach Day 2025 at the Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF) will be held in Columbus, Ohio on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center from 8:30am to 2:30pm.
This is a unique opportunity for local teachers to bring their students in grades 6-12 to meet ISEF finalists from around the world to learn about project ideation, research design, and overcoming challenges. Student attendees will also participate in many hands-on, interactive STEM activities from many organizations who offer local and national STEM resources and career connections. Intel Education Outreach Day will instill a sense of awe and excitement in local students, inspiring many to leave with their own scientific questions that could be used to create a research project in the future. Hundreds of teachers and chaperones will accompany local students on this day. Schools may apply for financial grants to support their transportation and substitute teacher needs.Organizations participating in Intel Education Outreach Day will lead hands-on STEM activities in an expo hall setting to introduce their organization to students and teachers. Teachers and students will be provided with information about exhibitors so they may connect with organizations after returning home. Large, interactive exhibits that will engage 20 or more students simultaneously are highly encouraged! The theme for Intel Education Outreach Day is "Building a Scientific Question!" In addition to providing hands-on activities, exhibitors are encouraged to add to this theme by sharing what resources, learning opportunities, and STEM professionals they have available that might help students come up with and answer their own scientific questions that could be turned into research projects. There is no cost for non-profit, government, college or university exhibitors to participate. For-profit organizations that are not already ISEF sponsors are asked to support Intel Education Outreach Day at a level commensurate with the scale of the presence they would like to have onsite and will receive all associated recognition and benefits. A member of the Society's Advancement team will be in touch with you to discuss options.
